Mercia employs over 60 people predominantly based in our head office in Leicester with a few members of our lecturing team on a home-based contract.  

Jane Everingham became managing director with effect from July 2007 having been on the Board for the last seven years. Whilst Jane now spends the majority of her time managing and developing the business, she continues to lecture on selected audit and accountancy courses. Before moving onwards and upwards Jane was responsible for Mercia's wide range of technical products and services. Jane is supported by her fellow executive directors, Liz Coates and Nicola Hurley, a team of technical experts and an excellent admin team.

Liz Coates is the director responsible for organising all of our courses and in house programmes with strong support from Kay Sanders and a large experienced admin team. Liz makes sure all the lecturers arrive at the right location, with the right notes at the same time as our delegates. With up to 40 courses running per day this can be a daunting task.

Nicola Hurley is the director with overall responsibility for our range of marketing support products and services for clients and the marketing function of our own business. Nicola joined Mercia in 1995 to offer design and marketing support to both Mercia and our clients. She is supported by the marketing support, design and marketing teams and is responsible for producing all printed material and html products. She also provides marketing consultancy for clients.
