FSA Assignments
The level of regulation and potentially therefore risk on specialist assignments is even greater than for commercial companies. This half day course is designed to introduce the Mercia Specialist Assignments Manual (SAM) documentation and procedures for FSA firms to members of staff who are new to the system and who need to use it in practice. The course will also be useful for existing users who would like to learn how to use the documentation as effectively as possible.
On completion of the course, participants will understand the regulatory framework governing an FSA client together with the audit and audit exemption documentation and how to use it in practice. Participants who have previously used alternative systems will be converted to, and aware of any differences in, the approach of the Mercia SAM. The course will cover the important procedures and identify which are mandatory and which can be amended in certain circumstances.
