Money Laundering Update
Users of our Practice Assurance Manual receive a copy of our training CD. The CD can also be purchased without the manual.
Course Outline
Many practice staff are aware of the requirements of the rules and regulations and what they must do to avoid breaking the law. However, are they applying them correctly in practice?
Our initial experience is that firms are making fewer reports than anticipated. Is this because there are fewer crimes or that people are failing to report them?
The 3rd EU Money Laundering Directive requires member states to issue revised Regulations. These should be finalised by the date of the course. Participants will understand the effects that the revised regulations will make.
The course will significantly increase awareness of the issues and provide practical guidance on what should be reported and how.
