Marketing Data Analyst

You will be joining us at a very exciting time. Not only are we moving toward Marketing Automation which we would love you to be a part of but we also have ambitious growth plans so we're looking for an experienced marketing data analyst to help us in both of these undertakings.

Why do we want you?

You are an exceptional Marketing Data Analyst, with a passion for client data and you are looking to help an organisation with ambitious growth plans to implement a range of initiatives to help their Commercial Team to achieve their sales and marketing objectives.

You are a GDPR and UK Regulatory expert who is looking for a role which will allow you to utilise your strategic thinking and existing progressing profiling, conversion tacking and lead scoring experience to constantly improve and develop data and its usage across the company.

Mercia Group is one of the leading providers of training and support services to the UK accountancy profession, working with over 8000 firms nationwide. We have a fantastic portfolio of products on offer and are looking for a tenacious, Marketing Data Analyst to provide us with accurate data to drive our business forward.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for helping to build our data strategy ensuring the improvement of the quality of data.

You will own and develop our client data and attributes; using your analytical skills to develop our client and market insights and therefore supporting all our client facing activities and growth plans.

As someone who loves data, you will enjoy the responsibility of constructing and maintaining our client and prospect universes through accurate and updated data, using demographic, firmographic, content and behavioural data and insights to segment client base.  These insights will then be used to help us build personalised communications to clients so you'll be able to see exactly how your work supports the business growth.

You'll work closely with the Head of Sales to build targeted client lists based on data and insights, provide and cleanse data lists for marketing campaigns, maintain the data in the Marketo database and use Smart Lists to segment it for the various audiences.

Obviously, data compliance is key in a role like this so you will be responsible for the management of our data in accordance with GDPR and PECR regulations so knowledge in these areas is essential.

As part of our marketing automation project, we love you to help us to develop our data in order to get it ready for Marketo integration and implementation and to differentiate between transactional and commercial data requirements and build the process and requirements for optimal CRM usage.  If you've been through an experience of data automation before that would be highly beneficial.

There is much more to this role so if you want to find out more, why not submit an application and our amazing talent acquisition team will get in touch.
