Solent & Mercia Training Events 2024

Solent Accountancy Training continues to work in close partnership with Mercia to support Solent firms of all accounting and tax associations and institutes in meeting their CPD requirements, through their extensive programme of technical and professional skills training, offered in a variety of formats. Following feedback from our members, Mercia’s new Learning Hub, launching in 2024, will include a vast array of great features, allowing you to access your courses, set and benchmark your professional goals via the CPD tracking tool and personalise your content. Client insights also identified a skills gap for accounting and tax professionals who have recently qualified and are progressing to manager level. For 2024, we have created a new pathway (page 14), which includes both the technical and professional skills required to be successful. Other exciting developments in our CPD programme include the expansion of our back-to-basics courses, which now include audit, a regulatory concerns series and other bite-sized offerings throughout the programme.
