Certificate in Probate and Estate Administration
Probate represents one of the biggest business opportunities to the accountancy profession in a generation, enabling you to create an additional revenue stream from new and existing clients.
In order to obtain authorisation from ICAEW, you must first attend a suitable training course and pass an assessment; although there are exemptions for those who have another qualification that meets all the learning objectives for probate. For more information on obtaining authorisation to undertaker probate work, please visit the ICAEW website here.
Our Certificate in Probate and Estate Administration has already helped hundreds of firms acquire the training and accreditation needed to apply for a probate licence. Courses and assessment days are running throughout this year, but spaces are limited. Click on a link below to book onto a face-to-face course or for the online course.
Our Certificate in Probate and Estate Administration is made up of 2 parts:
> A two day course OR on-demand webinars
> A two hour assessment
The courses and assessments are held on different dates and you will need to book onto both separately if you wish to obtain the certificate. You can book the assessment here.
Note - you will need to attend both the course AND assessment day if you wish to obtain the certificate.
You can access the course through a number of mediums:
> Face-to-face courses – runs over 2 full days
> Watch the course on-demand with our most recent webinar recording.
The aim of the course is to provide a good understanding of the basics of probate and estate administration. You will also need to sit a separate assessment to demonstrate competence to enable you to apply for probate accreditation. Our course is also suitable for those that wish to apply for authorisation for probate through the ACCA.
