In order to obtain authorisation from ICAEW, you must first attend a suitable training course and pass an assessment; although there are exemptions for those who have another qualification that meets all the learning objectives for probate. The aim of the course is to provide a good understanding of the basics of probate and estate administration. You will also need to sit a separate assessment to demonstrate competence to enable you to apply for probate accreditation. Our course is also suitable for those that wish to apply for authorisation for probate through the ACCA.
